• Did you know that the governmental agencies and non-profit organizations that use our air do not pay a dime for that service?  It is offered to them free of charge.
   

• That commercial radio stations no longer have to offer air time free of charge to governmental or non-profit agencies in order to run their Public Service Announcements?
   

• Without the services of Information Radio 1660,  many public service announcements would never be heard.  However, we accept public service announcements from any eligible organization and run those announcements 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
   

• In case of emergencies, such as severe weather, we broadcast needed information directly from the National Weather Service, and do so until the threat is over.
   

• Our only source of income is through special events or donations.  We have no paid staff, but we do have expenses.  So, anything you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
